Hi,
How long does the FPR-1200 hold the fuel pressure after the pumps have been turned off?
Best Regards,
Andre.
The amount of time the FPR can hold pressure when the engine is shut off can vary depending on base pressure and how well the fuel pumps one way valve can hold pressure.
My Supersonic BOV opens at 21psi during boost leak testing with cap completely tight. I need to achieve 30-40psi boost. Do I need a bigger spring or different bov?
How are you doing “leak testing”?
Static pressure testing is not the same as when the vehicle is running.
If the vacuum nipple on top of the BOV is connected properly, there is boost present pushing the piston down thereby holding it shut under boost. It only opens when there is a pressure differential (boost underneath the piston and vacuum in the nipple on top of the BOV) when you lift off the throttle.
Any way to download the entire 2012 catalog rather than one section at a time?
Not currently as it is too large for single download.
i havedpbv f9 or mazdaspeed3. valv opens at low pressures and spring is maxed out. do.i need new spring or wat. car only has 15 pounds oboost
How do you know the valve is opening?
Is the vacuum nipple connected to a proper manifold source?
If there have been many modifications to the car, yes a different spring may be necessary.
Can I use a FCD-1 in a N/A engine that is going to be turbocharged? the idea is to clamp the original MAP, would this work? the RPM limit will increase also?
The FCD-1 does not know what its connected to so yes, it will work.
It does nothing with RPM limits.
Hi I recently purchased the Single Stage Manual boost controller. I was curious if I can trim the black hose to a shorter, more efficient length as right now it is coiled up 2x from the source of wastegate.
Thanks
Yes you can
hi i recently purchased the dual port bov for my mitsubishi evolution X. im getting a flutter when i partially release the gas. do i need a new spring? i already have it set to softest setting.
I recommend the Red spring – TS-0205-3102
I recently purchased the eboost 2 and I found it have a 60mm diameter so it won’t fit to any of my gauge pods. Where can I find a pod for it?
They are typically installed in the dash.
Gauge pods can be used with modifications done to them or you can find some that are made for Autometer gauges that will work.
Will the eBoost2 work on a cummins diesel. Truck has nessecary mods, fuel system, larger turbo, large injection pump, performance injectors, inter cooler, with mild electronics. I am looking to control boost curves and eliminate boost creeping.
Yes it will!
I personally use one on my 2004 CTD.
I own a manual dual stage controller, installed it in my car but isnt working. Its not controlling the boost, the turbo is making just 7 psi (stock wga spring rate) even with the controller knob fully opened in low or high setting. I can hear the air leaking from the controller when open the knobs but w/o changes in the psi.
Installed the lines according to the online instructions, from compressor fitting to the T input and from the T output to the wga fitting (arrow pointing to the wga).
Thanks.
I suggest you call for tech support – 909-476-2570
If the controller is bleeding off signal but the boost is not increasing, something else is going on.
Angel, please tell us more about your vehicle.
If you have air coming from the controller, then it is working.
It works by bleeding off the boost signal to the wastegate so it does not see all of the manifold pressure. The wastegate thereby stays closed longer creating more boost.
It sounds to me that you still have something else in the system trying to limit the boost.
I have a 2006 pontiac GTO with a rear mount turbo system. I want to use “boost by gear” or “Boost by speed” with this setup I’m running. The eboost2 looks promising but I cannot get a solid answer from reading the manual. It has the factory ecu as that is what we tune for all our needs. Is the eboost2 what I would need and is there anything additional needed to have this feature on my car. Thanks for your time
The eBoost2 can accomplished boost by gear by simply grounding the AUX input wires via switches or ECU outputs. This is done quite often.

I have a ultra-gate 35 that is missing the valve seat, are the parts still currently avalible for older models or the specs to have one made?
I am sorry Sandy, that part is no longer available.
I have a BMW 135i, which has an ER charge pipe (with two meth bungs) and the standard plastic divertors and over 400HP at the wheels.
I saw you made the BMW Plumb Back (TS-0203-1250) and Dual Port (TS-0203-1050) Kompact BOV kits for these cars. Why are the dimensions smaller than the individual Plumb Back (BLACK: 38mm outlet TS-0205-1272) and Dual Port (BLACK: 38mm outlet: TS 0205-1072) BOVs? And what are the other differences between the Kompact and Individual BOVs?
Is it possible to buy two individual BOVs (using our own hoses and clamps) and will the individual BOVs fit the 135i? Also, would the individual BOVs fit the standard mounting position or does it require a custom mount?
The Kompact valves fit the car perfectly and mount up to the factory mounts where as the larger valves will not fit in the factory locations.
Please browse through our instructions for more information –

hi i currently have a turbosmart bpv with 25psi spring. i need a spring that can handle more boost. up to 30 would be fine. any suggestions. thanks for your help
Muhammad, our BPV springs are not rated in PSI.
What valve do you have and what color is the stripe on the spring?
Why do you think you need more spring?
Thanks for getting back to me Marty! The valve is BPV TS-0997-1009. I bought the valve from streetunit. It came with two springs, one is standard 10-20 PSI and the other is 20-25 PSI, that’s how it is listed on their website. I have the 20-25 PSI spring in.
http://www.streetunit.com/Turbosmart_Bypass_p/ts-0997-1009.htm
i honestly don’t remember the color of the spring but i can open and look at it. a friend who is running high boost suggested that i got the spring with high(30) PSI. this is what he is running. the reason i think i need more spring is because in 6th gear when i floor the car it makes the fluttering sound as if the boost is not being held how it should.
Street unit lists their parts differently than we do.
Please let me know what spring is in it and what boost you are running.
What other mods have you done?
Do you have a paper catalog you could send me? And price sheet?
Martie please provide your e-mail address
I plan to switch my Duel Port BOV from full atmosphere to recirculating; I have the replacement plug that was provided with my BOV when purchased. I am just wondering if there is anything needed that is above and beyond just switching the conical horn to the plug.
Thank you,
Ethan Hayden
Nope, that’s it!
Hi, I just install TS-0205-1020 dual port on my 2012 ralliart, I notice the left port and right port are not leveled same, the one that do VTA has 1/4″ higher metal block it from release air, the one do recir that has lower so it will start release air earlier than VTA port. so my question is, does it matter if I switch VTA port and recir port? or it has to be config that way, if I do switch, is there any difference? thank you
Yes it matters, please do not switch them.
I have the all black supersonic on my srt4, it seems that the bov is opening late and im getting surge through my intake and then a little through the bov! It happens no matter the boost low or high! Im running 16 psi! I have the adjust all the way out just barely covering the o-ring! The factory surge valve has been removed, im worried that this will hurt my turbo!! Is there anything I can do or do I need another bov?
I recommend getting a softer spring – TS-0205-3102.
That should fix you up.
Hi guys, need an advice. Do i need to cool down (other than removing the pressure/vacumn line) my engine before i re-calibrate the Zero display function of the Eboost Street 40psi unit?
No
Hello i have a ultra-gate38 and the diaphram is tore how can i get a new one?

How do I get a paper catalog?
Jeff, are you a shop owner or employee?
I seem to be having an issue with a compgate 40 with the dumptube clamps fitting correctly. It seems the flange on the gate housing is too thick so the clamp will not fit over it completely. Using everything the gates came with. Have pics if needed. Thank you in advance.
