It was always going to be a hard day for the Texas-based Mike Murillo. With the races shortened to half-track, anyone without any ADRL experience was at a disadvantage.

Murillo’s consistent performance pushed him through the quarters, then semis to eventually face Doug Sikora in the finals. Murillo’s time of 4.378 was slower than Sikora’s 4.309 but the race was won on a holeshot, with Murillo walking away with the Champion’s Title and $10,000 prize money.

Turbosmart is a long-time sponsor of Mike Murillo and we would like to congratulate Mike and his team on this outstanding achievement.
